The need

Twenty seven technical consultants at EveryNetwork’s California office operate out of a shared, “open” work area, outfitted for 15 people. During the week, they travel, working with and troubleshooting issues at client office locations. When consultants return to home base, their time at EveryNetwork is spent collaborating on client projects, participating in team meetings, reviewing product and technical updates, and catching up.

Over the years, instead of a place that encouraged collaboration, the office had accumulated many pieces of furniture of different colors, made by several manufacturers. The result of this design discord was a boxy, unfocused work environment that felt somewhat confining.

It was no surprise then, that when it came time to select furniture for their new, expanded office space, the California team pushed back against the standard corporate cubicle. They wanted a “wow” workplace. Their vision? An inspiring, clean, contemporary look with flowing, flexible work environment – a place that visually screamed, “We are way-cool professionals of the digital world.”

izzy’s Solution:

The open, collaborative furniture and seating products from izzydesign made a quick connection with the California consultants of EveryNetwork. In fact, the creative, award-winning duo of Calvin and Edison fit this talented, high-tech team with a capital T. Delineating space with a metal post and beam architecture, izzy’s Edison distributes power and communications throughout the open office plan. Frosted glass panels attach to Edison’s frame – encouraging collaboration while also creating a sophisticated statement of visual privacy. Geometrically-shaped, freestanding Clara work tables are lightweight. These easy-to-move tables dressed up with veneer tops are ready at a moment’s notice to convert from a one-person workstation to a comfortable conference area. Colorful Hannah stacking chairs from izzy are quite at home in social settings – around guest tables in the office and – where else? – the corporate kitchen. All lines of izzydesign products are GREENGUARD Certified for meeting safe indoor air standards.

"The EveryNetwork team in California wanted an open, free-flowing floor plan – a more contemporary feel than the company’s conventional office set-up on the east coast (near Boston). They loved the look of the Edison and Clara furniture collections from izzy. When it came in with a lower price tag than the cubicles and meeting furniture they were supposed to buy, it was a done deal.
